My friends laptop won't boot up (load-up?/start-up?).
When she powers it on a black screen with a blue box is displayed that reads:
<There is an issue with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) data.
Press [Y] Reset whole TPM
Press [N] - Boot with current TPM data
Note: BitLocker may require the recovery key to boot to Windows.>
She knows nothing of a bitlocker or any recovery key.
Needs information on the laptop to recover her phone.
What to do?
Thanks in advance.

You can try pressing N to boot and if that fails press Y to reset the TPM module but it sounds like bitlocker was setup on the drive the only way to remove this without the key is to format the drive and start from scratch as this is an encrypted protection designed to keep your drive secure with a encryption code.
