@Tukk glad to hear that a possible solution exists. How did you contact HP support? Through phone or email?
When I go to the HP Support page to find out the contact details, they ask me for my region (Netherlands) and then give me the option of calling them or posting on the forums here. How did you contact them for a replacement adapter?

I'm Dutch as well, and ended up having a Dutch e-mail contact (hpservicesupport_emea@hp.com) named Roberto. He worked together with a 2nd line help desk collegue who e-mailed in English. I don't really remember how I got into contact using e-mail to be honest. I think i may have called at first, and then got an escalated case...
Good luck!

Upon sending a email to that adres, I recieved a autoreply stating that the email is not monitored and that my case was closed along with a link that sends me back to the support page. Looks like I will have to call them instead. Hopefully it won't be a pain.
It's just a bit weird how they don't mention that the default adapter cripples peformance of the laptop...

For everyone in this thread. I got the latest updates form the HP support application and updated my bios from here Under the 'bios' tab since yesterday. Everything is now working like it should. No weird fps drops er thermal threading anymore. I hope what I say is working for everyone. Cheers!
