HP Pavilion G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok I hate windows 10 and want to go back to windows7 because I can no longer use WiFi. I should have checked to see if it was compatible and I didn’t. Anyway I am past the 30 days. I tried factory reset/ recovery still windows 10 came back. Tried using media creative tool with my product key no go. Tried downloading the windows 7 iso did not work. Do I need to contact HP to get a windows 7 disk? If so do you know a number? I love my computer and hate but a new one. Please help!

Hi:

If you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 product key on your notebook's case, you can make your own W7 installation media from this site...select the W7 64 bit file near the bottom of the page.

https://getintopc.com/softwares/operating-systems/windows-7-home-premium-free-download-iso-32-bit-64...

Then you can use the free utility that I zipped up and attached below to transfer the file to a DVD or USB flash drive.

Otherwise, since HP no longer carries W7 recovery media for the g6 model series, your only other option would be to see if this non-HP vendor carries recovery media for your PC.

You must enter the exact model number or product number to get the right recovery kit.  g6 ain't gonna cut it.
