Hello, I'm trying to update my BIOS to the latest release available, I was doing some research and the very last version available was the F.1C, but that is dated back from 2013. The problem is that I'm trying to use a Gen 4 Samsung NVME M.2 SSD in an USB adapter to format it and use it as an external drive.
I'm assuming my BIOS is too old to even recognize this newer technology, does anybody have a clue of what I can do?
I have an HP Pavilion dv7-6b32us running Windows 10, I also used Windows to try to recognize the drive multiple times and in different ways and simply it does not work.
Samsung suggested to use their Samsung Magician software, but that only recognize the size of the drive but not the type or any other details.
So at this point I'm clueless on what to do, any help will be appreciate it. Thanks
