Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While installing Windows, I got a message: Disk has MBR partition. On EFI systems windows only can be installed to GPT disks.

Hi:

 

Watch this video to fix that problem...clean the disk at the beginning of the W10 installation...

Thank you for help, but I am not sure for this tip. It is brand new SSD. There is some partition already. What will hapen if I delete it ?

You're very welcome.

 

If the SSD is brand new, you don't need the partition.

 

The SSD is formatted in MBR so you need to clean the whole disk.

If I tray to format or delite existing partition I got warning message ' There are some important manufacturers applications or documents'.

You're not going to be able to install Windows if you don't clean the disk by following the guidance in that video.

 

 You won't need those documents for the SSD to work.

 

You should be able to get any information you need regarding your SSD from the manufacturer's website.
