Good afternoon, from Northwest Ohio. I am stumped and hoping someone here can help me out. I dualboot between windows 11 and Linux on this laptop. Last night, I installed a new boot manager, and I’m trying to disable secure boot. I am not able to enter the bios on the computer. If I power the machine on, I get the messages that say press escape to pause, startup, or F-10 bios set up, but nothing else. I am totally blind, therefore unable to figure out how to remove the battery, as many posts suggest. My computer is an HP envy 17.3 inch Laptop 17-cr0000 US Base Model. is there a way to fix this without removing the battery? Does removing the battery on this computer require the use of a screw driver? Any help getting this back up and running would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much in advance.
