Unable to fix the location of my HP laptop

The following hp community forum is descriptive and explanatory.I want to include that I unable to fic=x the location of my HP laptop.I have contacted the helpdesk support garmin map updates free download 2019 .I have followed out all the manuals as suggested by the team such as follows:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Location.
2. Secondly,Under Default location, select Set default.
3. The Windows Maps app will open. Follow the instructions to change your default location.
4. Suggest us if anything else we need to include.

Does your machine have GPS function ? If NOT, it uses your internet connection to work out your location and this may not your REAL location.

To follow-up on what @banhien told you, if the location being used is that of your Internet provider, then unlike the misinformation provided in movies and TV, that is NOT the location of your device -- but instead, the REGISTERED address of the Internet provider.
