I have a new HP ZBook 15. It comes with HP Client Security 8.1.2.1464
The functionality of HP Client Security is not compatible with my organization's security requirements.
I need to uninstall it.
When I try uninstall, I get an error message about not having enough hard drive space on my DVD drive.
Please help me get past this error.
Thank you,
Ben

Okay I found the solution. Go into Device manager and disable the DVD drive.
Then the uninstaller gets past that stage and will tell you the other programs you need to uninstall.
In the end I was able to accomplish my goal.

NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! I JUST DID THIS AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!
NOTE THE DIFFERENCE in my PROBLEM THOUGH.... I was getting the infamous HP Client Security error of:
error 1325.hewlett-packard is not a valid short file name.
...every single time I would go to remove HP Client Security Manager (after already removing all other programs related to it).... and sure enough... for whatever weird reason...... disabling the CD/DVD drive in Device Manager worked for this error too!!
After I disabled the drive, it finally got past error 1325 and allowed me to remove the package!!!
KUDOS BENR2 MAN!!!! HUGE KUDOS!!
This was preventing me from rolling out a laptop I need to get finished and now I can move on with it!!

Thanks a lot!
By disabling the DVD the "Error 1325.Hewlett-Packard is not a valid short file name" was gone.
But then I got an error "Windows Installer Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."
What I did was to download from the HP drivers page for my ProBook 400 the HP Client Security (can be the same version already installed). After re-installing it, when prompted for a reboot I selected "No", and immediately went to uninstall HP Client Security. This way it worked without errors.
