Product: HP Stream - 14

I bought a laptop used. Guy didn’t tell me until I got home he forgot his password. I tried resetting but no luck. Someone suggested calling HP but the PC is out of warranty and I keep getting the run around. Only connects me to virtual assistant who doesn’t help. How can I get into this computer?! Please help!!! I’m fine wiping it completely clean!
