Microsoft tell me I need to upgrade the BIOS before I can install the latest version of Windows 10. Is it safe to do this? If so, how do I do it? Grateful for any advice. Thank you.

F.45 Rev. A get it here:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80252.exe
Download it and launch it by double clicking on it. Make sure the battery is charged and you are plugged in. Follow the prompts. It will reboot the computer but then your BIOS will be upgraded and then you can install the latest Creators Build of Windows 10. Always a very slight risk with a BIOS flash but it is an acceptable, very very minor risk.
Post back with any questions but please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.
