Why isn't HP issuing an update patch to users? Why do I have to go through these steps as it is a known issue?

The SP 78033 seems to work for me on first re-boot.  I had to troubleshoot my wireless internet connectivity which is usually flawless.  All is good now.  Thanks!  If it doesn't continue to work, I'll try the alternate solution.
