Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello Hp Community.

My issue is that when i tried to load windows 7 it says WIndows failed to start and that but when i plugin a windows usb to boot from it is not booting into it and when is press F9 or F10 it doesnt go into the bios or that it just goes back to the WIndows Boot Manager Screen.

 

Please Help me

Hi, Marcus:

 

In order to boot W7 from a USB flash drive, you need to enable legacy mode in the BIOS and disable secure boot.

 

W7 is not compatible with secure boot.

Also boot from the notebook's USB2 port.

 

W7 doesn't have the USB 3 drivers to install.

Does the USB flash drive you made boot on another PC?

 

If it does, unfortunately I don't know why it won't boot from your notebook with those settings.

 

There should be a legacy usb device to boot from showing up under the F9 list.

 

You don't need it to go into the BIOS.

 

You should be able to tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.

 

Then select the F9 boot options menu.

Yes the usb has been made from another pc
