Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I switched to windows 11 which seemed to be fine for a while but have more and more problems and want to go back to windows 10.  How can I do this since I don't have a windows 10 disk.  I did a recovery disk when I got the computer but it doesn't seem to work.

Thank you

Hi:

See if your notebook is supported the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support

If that doesn't work, you can clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

thank you.  I had the cloud program on a drive but for some reason when I tried it the first time it said it couldn't be used.  After your reply I tried again and it worked fine.  Who knows!  Anyway I am back to Windows 10.  Thanks
