HP Notebook 15-da1030tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My product shows a warranty from March 2019 to May 2020, but I bought my laptop in June 2019.

I had to check all this bc I find my pc working too slow, also it isn't able to update drivers.

How to know it's not a used laptop

Please help it's been 3 days I've bought it n I'm worried.

Hi:

No need to worry that you have a used laptop.

For whatever reason, HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

So the longer it sits in a retailers warehouse, the more time is gone from the warranty.

The first thing to do is to try and submit a warranty dispute online to get the warranty start and end dates corrected.

If for some reason, the online method doesn't work, contact HP technical support and speak with a customer services rep to have the warranty start and end dates corrected.
