Glad you have all this support that takes days and other users to help you through it, i was about to say congratulations on you CompTIA A+ etc ?
you shouldn't have to do this unless you filled your drive up that much there was no room ?

I filled nothing uo
little bots from HP and Microsoft filled it up..it’s a weeny 100mb partition
you’d think someone from those tech savvy corporations would be able to avoid this from occurring
Anyway..it’s nice to have a community to listen to me go a bit nuts

I have a problem with this....
the resolution fixed the issue. but I am the head IT of a major firm. why is this a continuing problem?
this user has given HP a resolution, and instead of putting in a "bug report" to let Development know, and have the issue fixed they say "Thank you" and summarize the process expecting to get "flagged" as resolution.
I say NO. HP you need to fix this before any future laptops leave your facility, you KNOW what the fix is. fix it in your image so that no one else has the problem. DEFLECT the calls from coming in in the first place.
in this case, EVERYONE who gets a new computer will need to fix this before they can update windows. if 100% deflection is NOT enough for your standards. it should be.

done the Job for me and WIN11 Update 24H2 is Running without Problems more
seems that not very much Space was needed
I Still ask myself Why HP was needed to use the smallest Place on the Mashine for their Updates when MS is needed it too
Hope that this will be changed in Future as an Example to the Recovery Partition or C:/
