This is showing up as an optional update, but I cannot find any information anywhere on it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi:
It is an update to the hotkey application pushed from HP via the Microsoft update catalog.
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=7.0.18.1
I downloaded the cab file, and used the free 7-zip file utility to extract the files out of the cabinet file.
Normally the hotkey support driver is only for HP business class notebooks.
I have gotten this optional update on a couple of my HP consumer class notebooks, and it would not install, so if it doesn't, then it is not for your model notebook, and you can run the separate hide windows update utility to prevent that update from showing up again if it doesn't install.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file.
