Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I would appreciate suggestions or guidance regarding which of 79 available HP driver files I should install following a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit. There appear to be some "bundles" in the 79 as well, which perhaps would make the whole thing easier.  The machine is stand-alone in a home environment, though it will be "connected" to an HP desktop via a wi-fi home network.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Bob S

Hello @BobSz,

You could install the drivers you want or...

Just let HP Support Assistant do all the work for you. It'll automatically detect and recommend drivers.

Better yet, the HP SoftPaq Download Manager, which is only available for Business PCs, is also available for your model:

HP SoftPaq Download Manager

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59501-60000/sp59909.exe

Hope this helps,

Eddy

Fan-tastic!  I've seen those tools in my past browsing, so I'll find them, fire them up, keep my fingers crossed, and hope my trusty 6-year old machine doesn't melt. 🙂

Thanks for the quick AND useful reply, Eddy.
