Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

hello,

I have just replaced my hard drive on my Hp 1050sa. I have reinstalled win 7 Professional SP 1 on the HD. The original os was smooth running...Im finding the graphics clunky on this install  less refined. Does anyone have any suggestions and ideas to get it to run smoothly as the original os that came with the laptop. Is there a like for like replacement disk as the original came with all the drivers.

Please let me know, Thanks.

Jonny.

Yes I think I did install graphics driver from that page.

I think the serial number is [edit] and the product number is B3Z95EA hashABU Hp envy M6 1050sa

In the latest installation I made the keyboard is not the correct configuration also. The hash key is not in the correct place and the parenthesis is not on the number two. I think I down loaded all the drivers from the notebook support page.

Hi:

Did you install the graphics drivers from your notebook's support page?

Usually when you install from a plain operating system disk with no drivers, and you install the drivers yourself, the notebook runs better than it did when it was new with the factory image and all of its bloatware.

HP 1050sa isn't enough info for me to provide additional assistance.  That is a partial model number.

Use this guide for how to find the product number/model number of your notebook.

Hi:

According to the specs I see online, your notebook comes with the Intel/AMD switchable graphics adapter, so you need to install this graphics driver.   The below driver is a custom driver that installs both the Intel and AMD GPU's.

As far as the keyboard configuration issue, unfortunately I don't know what to do about that.
