HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new HP Envy x360 recently auto updated KB4601050 onto its current Win10 v 20H2 OS. Within minutes the laptop disconnected from the broadband service. I rebooted, it ran for 2-3 mins and again disconnected from broadband. I have uninstalled the update and placed auto-updates on hold for 7 days. I have read that KB4601050 is directed against 'denial of service' attacks. And so far, by immediatley closing down my laptop .... it's going to be 100% effective, and rendered by £1000 tech to the state of a brick!😣 Somehow, I have to believe that MS did not intend this as the end result. Andy ideas anybody?

This is my current configuration:

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 20H2
Installed on ‎27/‎01/‎2021
OS build 19042.746
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

My laptop is on windows 10 home 2OH2 build 19042.804 with no issues. My laptop is not the envy though.

Multiple factors.

I have a high end machine and I can update, but 20H2 seems bugged and I cannot install video drivers. The system also eventually crashes giving a WATCHDOG VIOLATION.

If you found problems upgrading to 20H2 better stay away from it.

I upgraded not one machine, 14 notebooks from HP, Dell, Microsoft, Lenovo and Asus no problem so far. Please try the following solution
