Greetings – I am hoping that a community member has a possible solution for my Windows 10 HP Notebook 15t issue. I placed the device into sleep mode during meal-time. When I tried to wake it nothing happened. I tried the Windows key + B key with the power button method; the fan whirled then turned off. There is no removable battery and when I connect the power adapter the power light is lit. I have also tried pressing the ESC key several times while pressing the power button. Thanx in advance for your reply.

Hi @digisign
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are facing no boot issue with your HP Notebook - 15t-Db000 CTO , I am glad to assist you
Don't worry, together we will try to sort this out.
To be able to assist you better please let me know if you have an external monitor.
- May I know since when are you facing this issue?
- Did you make any software-related changes to it?
- Is the power light blinking?
Meantime, please try these steps
I would suggest you please try these steps and please do not skip even if you feel its repetitive.
Connecting an external monitor to test the display.
- Connect an external monitor to the notebook. For instructions, see Connecting a Monitor, Projector, or TV (Windows)
- If the computer screen does not display on the external monitor, press F4 (or the key with this symbol ) until the screen image displays.
- If an image displays on the external monitor, there might be a graphics driver conflict with the notebook LCD display. With the external monitor connected, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads. Download and install the latest graphics and chipset drivers for your specific computer. If an updated BIOS version is available, see Updating the BIOS for steps to install it.
- If the screen is still black after updating the chipset and graphics drivers and BIOS, the LCD might be defective. Contact HP for technical assistance or send the notebook for service.
- If you can hear sounds of operation but no image is visible on either display, go to the next step.
Recovering the notebook BIOS using a key press combination
- Turn off the computer.
- Connect the notebook to a power source using the power adapter.
- Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time while the computer is off.
- While still pressing both keys, hold down the Power button for one second, and then release the Power button and the keys.
The power LED light remains on, and the screen remains blank for about 40 seconds. You might hear beeping sounds. Afterwards, an HP BIOS Update screen displays, and the BIOS update begins.
If recovering the BIOS did not resolve the blank screen problem, please get back to us.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
-Regards.
