Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently used Windows 10 reset feature on a 1 year old laptop and it is now asking for windows activation. I've changed no hardware, kept everything the same. Trying to activate but keep getting same error: the last key you entered cannot be used to activate but it is NOT showing the product key I've entered, it continues to show a 20 digit number ending in  AAOEM # even AFTER trying to chage the product key numerous times. The Troubleshooter will NOT work. Keep getting: Somehing interupted our troubleshooting... even after turning off firewall. Tried the SLUI 4 search and get the spinning wheel of death in the dialog box.  Tried to call Micosoft and without the information suppose to come up after the spinning wheel of death, they cannot/won't help me. Anyone???

I would do a complete System Recovery by booting into recovery at power on. The guide here shows the steps-except on many machines you have to tap Esc key immediately after powering then tap F11 rather than just tapping F11.
