What I have found out so far:

The (*) in the right column belongs to the GPT column. It moves to the right side because you don't have KB and MB

But your system came with FreeDOS which can't be run in UEFI Mode on a GPT disk. Here Legacy is necessary!

So

convert MBR

would have been the first command in diskpart
