HP Notebook - 15-af123cl (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I attempted to reload Windows 10 following the troubleshoot prompts.  Ultimately was not successful and was directed to attempt from a separate media.  I created and when I attempted to follow the troubleshooting path, I received this error message.  None of the function key prompts work.  The laptop simply tries to reboot and I receive the same error.  Any guidance appreciated.

Hi:

You will have to use the W10 installation media you created to reinstall W10.

If you need to recover files from the PC, when you get to the part of the installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' do not delete any partitions or format any partitions.

Just let W10 install over the current C:\Windows partition, and it will create a Windows.old folder.

After W10 has completed installing, you can explore the Windows.old folder, find your old user profile and copy and paste any files/folders you need to save to your new profile.
