Though I just had Windows 11 Home running on my computer, it became corrupt and I'm now trying to reinstall it but it states that my computer isn't compatible with Windows 11.
I've tried all of the following:
- Restore (from a previous point)
- Checked that the BIOS has Secure Boot using EUFI set. I see no listings for the TPM version though Enabled is checked for using TPM.
- Used bcdedit.exe to assure correct boot settings.
- Used REGEDIT to enter the ''AllowUnsupportedTPMorCPU"=1 under the ...Setup\MoSetup key.
- Used hp diagnostics to assure all system components were working correctly.
I'm using an expanded Windows 11 ISO to install Windows. I type "setup.exe' and it starts then tells me my computer can't be upgraded to 11 because it doesn't have the requirements.
If anyone can think of a workaround I'll be greatly appreciative for assistance!
Thank you sincerely;
Glenn

Hi, Glenn:
Use my workaround with the Rufus v3.18 utility that I attached in the discussion below to build a bootable USB flash drive that bypasses the W11 hardware checks.
See this discussion...you can do an in-place upgrade from W10 or clean install W11:

Thank you greatly Paul for reading an providing a possible solution.
But I have no PC to download Rufus onto or use to run Rufus. My laptop is the only computer I have and I can only boot into the console. I'm writing to you through my Android cell phone which is how I downloaded Windows 11 then extracted it to my USB drive.
Actually I extracted it to a microSD card of my cell phone, then used a microSD--to--USB adapter to plug it into my laptop. From my Laptop, I copied the extracted files from the USB to my laptop's using:
Robocopy <source> "c:\WinDsk\" /MIR
This is where I'm stuck. I run the setup.exe file from the extracted ISO files I copied to my laptop and even though I've performed all of the measures I first stated, I still get the incomparable error. Remember, this laptop was just ruining Windows 11 since I bought it, there shouldn't even be a problem, for it comes from HP with Windows 11 installed.
I just don't get it. If you have any other ideas I'd be very grateful and thanks again for your efforts, truly.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, unless you can use another Windows PC, I don't know of any other way to do it.
See if you can have a friend or relative make the bootable USB drive for you.
It only takes a few minutes to do.
