HP ProBook 440 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, following the results of the PC Health check tool being used for checking windows 11 upgradability, I need to understand why my ProBook stands ineligible for the said windows upgrade - (attaching SS for reference)

Hi:

It fails because Microsoft is currently indicating that only Intel 8th gen core processors and newer will be supported for W11.

List of supported Intel processors...

Hopefully, Microsoft will relax their processor standards as the months roll by, and the public complains.

Hmm... i saw their updated list for minimum pc requirement, apparently the generation of intel processor I'm running doesn't work for windows 11.

Thank you for clarification!
