Hello,
I have installed Windows 7 on my wife's laptop because she didn't like Windows 10.
The network drivers are missing completely. I can't conect to wireless or via ethernet.
I have tried to check for drivers on thr website but they're for windows 10.
Is there any drivers for windows 7 available?
Many thanks

Hi:
Sorry that driver is giving you a hard time.
When you look inside the driver setup information file, it shows support for the hardware ID you posted.

Hi:
These W7 drivers should work for your notebook...
Chipset: Install and restart the PC. You want the 1st file listed on the webpage.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy4&os=Windows%207%20-%2064
Graphics: 2nd driver on the webpage (462 MB). Install and restart the PC.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/apu?os=Windows%207%20-%2064
Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the 2nd driver on the list and restart the PC.
Ethernet: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver file at the link below...
SD Card reader: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below...
Touchpad:
This package provides the driver that enables the Synaptics TouchPad in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The driver enables general touchpad functionality (for example double-tap and scroll) and provides a user interface.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81891.exe
Wifi:
There is no information online regarding what model wifi adapter your notebook comes with.
Please do either of the following...turn the notebook over and see if there is a FCC-ID label on the bottom of the case.
If there is, post the FCC-ID.
If there isn't, go to the device manager, there will be a device listed under an Other Devices category labeled as a Network Controller.
Post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID. Then I will post the links to the wifi and bluetooth drivers you need...

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&SUBSYS_804C103C
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&CC_0280
PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1537&SUBSYS_15371022&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1537&SUBSYS_15371022
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1537&CC_108000

Many thanks

You're very welcome.
That is very interesting...they put a label for a Broadcom wifi adapter, but the hardware ID you posted (which is like a fingerprint), indicates your notebook actually has a Realtek wifi adapter (it has the same specs as the Broadcom one)..
Here are the links to the wifi and bluetooth drivers for the Realtek card...
This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller in the supported models running a supported operating system.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82501-83000/sp82801.exe
This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek Bluetooth in the supported notebook/laptop models that are running a supported operating system.

PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller: I have zipped up and attached the driver you need for that device below...
Download and unzip the driver file I attached. Don't do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager and click on the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.

That's a good question.
It should have worked.
See if this works...
Go to the device manager. Click on the Network Controller device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the sp82801 driver file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp82801.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way.
If not, I will give you the link to a slightly older driver.

I have managed to install everything but the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller.
It says: windows encountered a problem instaling the driver software for your device.
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.
AMD PSP 1.0 Device
The system cannot find the file specified.
