Hello
I formatted my pc to the latest version of Windows 10 (built 19042.782), while partitioning the disks I accidentally deleted the recovery files (containing the drivers and system settings). I tried to recovery the lost file with recovery program but it doesnt work. After finishing the installation I tried to download the drivers from the official site but the drivers are not compatible with the version of windows 10 (built 19042.782) that I installed. I don't remember which built was the version of windows 10 that I had before, can anyone tell me what is the built in windows 10 installed on this pc? or could someone please give me the original recovery files of this pc?

 

I am a gamer please help.....

The answer to the first question is no -- we have no way of knowing the precise Windows 10 built that came preloaded and HP keeps no records of these kinds of details for individual PCs.

 

The answer to the second is also no -- as we have no way of retrieving those files or sending them to folks.

 

If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.

The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.
