HP Envy X360 15-aq100na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This update has finally shown up via Windows Update with a message that my current OS will not be supported for much longer.  It downloads without any problems but installation repeatedly stops at 49%.

The error code is 0xc19001e1

I've tried installing with anti virus temporarily disabled.

I've cleared the Software Distribution Download folder.

I've run the Troubleshooter and SFC but couldn't find any problem.

My laptop is 4 years old so I'm not looking to replace it yet.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link.

I've already tried suggestions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and10.

Will try the other simple steps.  I'm a bit wary of doing anything too drastic.

May just ignore the update for a while longer.

If it 'aint broke....
