My laptop was installed with Windows 10. And recently I tried install Ubuntu but not directly onto the laptop, the system is actually in an external drive.
But during installation, I did something should be done to my laptop. Now, my laptop only boot Ubuntu and not Windows. I did try to find Windows Recovery pre installed in the laptop drive but it is gone. The Windows system and the recovery is in the same drive, different partition. As I look in Ubuntu Disk software, the disk is unallocated.
Is this mean that the Windows is gone and formatted? But the important thing is, how to get Windows back on my laptop.

Hi:
If you have access to another Windows PC that is running W7 64 bit or newer on it, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
