ProBook 6460b

I resently purchased an HP ProBook 6460b that has no OS at all. (was not aware of this at time of purchase) My question is...

Can anyone tell me where to go, if it is possible, to download windows OS to a flash drive using my Macbook, then downloading the windows OS software to the ProBook? Is that even possible? I would be beyond grateful for any help.

Honestly I don't think this is going to work because Mac machines and Windows machines use two different file format systems. You have to convert from one to the other and I don't know the conversion software can convert a BOOT USB drive or not.

Hope this makes sense.

Updated: I think the following process would work (HOPE):

(a) Download Windows 10 ISO file to your Mac,

(b) Burn ISO file to a DVD from your Mac,

(d) Now use DVD to install Windows 10.

Regards.
