I got a Microsoft flash drive, but can't format. I tried diskpart and Rufus, no luck. I would like to reuse it over, but can't format.

Hi again,

Sorry to hear that, if the issue is in the drive, have you ever tried to contact HP support? Thank you!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear this, is there any error code or message in the process, you may try MiniTool Partition Wizard and see if it works.

Hi there,

Sorry it helped nothing, in the Disk Management, you can try right clicking on the far left where is says REMOVABLE (E:)... You may get more options.

Another thing you can do is to download a bootable ISO Image of Partition Wizard, and try reformatting the drive while booted to the CD... It can be put on a PenDrive as well if needed.  https://www.partitionwizard.com/partition-wizard-bootable-cd.html

Hope it helps. Thank you!

I tried a bulk eraser, but that didn't work. So, I think this drive is toast. It was one that HP sent me to do a system restore for my HP stream 11. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
