Whenever I try to reset my PC to a factory mode, I keep getting the same message " Your PC has been reset but we couldn't remove all your personal files".  I tried to solve the problem using many options presented by many IT savvy experts in Youtube and others. What I want to do is that I want to clean my PC out and make it ready for sale. Accordingly, if I have to use a microsoft ISO file or USB, I want to do it without affecting the original reset function of the HP Recovery Manager for future use.

@teyohn

From your description, it sounds like the Original Reset function is not working; otherwise, you would not be having these problems.

Your only recourse at this point would be to purchase something known as HP Recovery Media to do a full factory reset on your PC.

You can do so using this link:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07143
