i just bought the laptop 2 days ago .. a new strange partion appeared when i started the laptop .. the last time i used the lap before this partition appear i checked for updates & messages from hp support assistant !!

Support Assistant can make that drive to hold temporary files for updates. It will go away or you can delete it see this discussion:
