Hi @Steved5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xC004C003 typically indicates that the activation key is blocked. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this:
Ensure Internet Connection: Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, as Windows 11 requires an internet connection for activation.
Check Product Key: Verify that you have entered the correct product key. You can do this by going to:
- Settings -> System -> Activation
- Here you will find the option to enter your product key.
Digital License: If your computer came with Windows 11 pre-installed, it should have a digital license embedded in the BIOS. Activation should happen automatically when online. Ensure that you have rebooted the machine and are connected to the internet.
Microsoft Account Association: Ensure that your Microsoft account is linked to your digital license. This can sometimes resolve activation issues by reconnecting to Microsoft's servers.
Retry Activation: After ensuring all the above steps, try activating Windows again by going to:
- Settings -> System -> Activation, and select Troubleshoot.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
