I'm having problems with my notebook Envy not finding the bluetooth icon and not able to connect the pc via bluetooth to any device. The only problem following throuble shouting is an error message that states " Railink Bluetooth PCle Adapter"error .
Tried to investigate if all drivers are current and the systems says that all drivers are updated but apparently something is not working . NEED HELP.
best regards

You're very welcome.
You have a HP ENVY 17-j113el Notebook PC.

Here are your two options to replace the Ralink Wi-Fi card with a better one:
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part # 724935-001
You should be able to find either one of these model cards on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
This would be the other option...to use a USB Bluetooth adapter.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Hi:
If you are running Windows 10 on your notebook, that is a common and unfixable problem with the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter.
The Bluetooth quits working and completely disappears from the device manager on the newer builds of W10.
Many times, the Wi-Fi does too.
The only fix would be to replace the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter, but the only way I can let you know if that is possible would be to let me know the full model number or product number of your notebook.
Use this guide to find that information...

Your other option would be to purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter.
