OK.
What you need to create is a custom refresh image. It will include everything installed. All software as well.
See the following web page at the How-to-Geek

Don't change it to D partition unless you have that set as the data partition . That is usually the recovery partition.
The How-to-Geek article also shows how to change the path to which the snapshot will be saved. You can do that with the setcurrent command while you are making another image.
Did you create a folder in a partition in which your preference is collect snapshots of the current state of your PC?

Go back to the article and use the showcurrent command at the commmand line to see where it is located.
I notice you have not answered the questions that I asked you.

The custom refresh makes a snaphot of the complete state of the operating system. That is with updates and software installled.

Hi,
I have followed the link and have just attempted this, and the Command Promt says its not a recognised as a internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I tried all the commands such as C:\CustomRefreshImages\Image1, recimg /showcurrent and same response each time.
Also, every time I start my hp pavilion notebook dv6 and error message appears "BackupAndRestore Exception: Could not load file or assembly 'sorttbls.nlp' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specififed. Will this issue be solved if I follow the link above? I feel this is why my drivers are not up to date as my HP support assistant has not been working for some time now..
Thank you,
Much appreciated.
