@Mp228, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It looks like your HP Envy x360 with Intel Core i7 and Bang & Olufsen audio is prompting for a BitLocker recovery key after a reboot due to a forgotten PIN. This is a common security feature in Windows to protect your data.

What is BitLocker and Why Am I Seeing This?

BitLocker is a drive encryption feature built into Windows. If Windows detects a change in your system (like a forgotten PIN, BIOS update, or hardware change), it may require the 48-digit BitLocker recovery key to ensure your data is safe.

How to Retrieve Your BitLocker Recovery Key

Here are the steps to find your recovery key:

1. Check Your Microsoft Account

If you signed into your PC with a Microsoft account, your recovery key is likely saved there.

  • Go to: https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey
  • Sign in with the same Microsoft account used on your HP device.
  • Look for the recovery key that matches this ID:
    B47B5DDC-AE72-44D3-A112-A963F161EE50

2. Check Other Locations

If you didn’t use a Microsoft account, try these:

  • USB Drive: You may have saved the key to a USB during setup.
  • Printout: Check if you printed the key and stored it safely.
  • Work/School Account: If this is a work device, contact your IT admin.
  • Cloud Domain Account: If joined to a domain, the key may be stored there.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
