boot devise not found, then i go to system diagnosis , run a hard drive test, short dst fails

hp 15 233wm will not boot up. it will allow me to run a dianostic on it but it fails. failure id 9tsbhw-8hs8nb-mfpx6k-60tv03.   product id-lot33ua#aba can somebody please help me??!!

Sounds like your Hard Drive has died.  You can simply replace the Hard Drive and reinstall Windows and you should be good to go.

i will do that today... my other hp is the dv6 pavilion. i cant run it with a battery or it will never load the home page.... it gets really hot on the left hand side of the keyboardi tried new batteries from hp, and i went ahead and got a new ac adapter because the the original make this noise that seriosly sounds like how old dial up sounds when it is bootimg up.
