After a failed attempt to use the win11 on this laptop (could not find suitable drivers for many devices, power management was horrible, etc), I decided to go back to windows 10. Downloaded the installer from MS website, installed it on the SD card, and then found out that hp engineers made their own internal SD card reader impossible to boot from. Thank goodness I bought another usb reader.
After installing it, I found that windows 10 (build 19044) was also unable to find the correct drivers for many of the internal devices.
I then used the hp support assistant program, but it just prompted me to replace the newer MS wlan driver with the older hp driver. The automated online tool also didn't find anything suitable for my device.
I then tried manually downloading the drivers (started with Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver (windows 10 v1909)), but it told me that my OS (windows 10 build 19044) is not supported.
Honestly, I never expected to encounter this kind of problem with hp products. Can anyone advise me how to solve this problem?

Hi:
These two drivers should install a few of those devices:
Intel Chipset Installation Utility
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe
Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95216.exe
After you install the above drivers, let me know what is left and also post the hardware ID's for the devices that still need drivers.

Hi:
This driver should instal the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A37C and the other unknown devices:
Intel Sensor Hub Components Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-99500/sp99465.exe
This driver will install the PCI Device:
Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers

You're very welcome.
Try this version instead.

The Intel chipset and thermal platform drivers should have installed those devices.
Try manually installing all of the unknown devices as follows:
I will guide you through installing the first unknown device and then do the same for the other three:
Go to the device manager. Click on the Unknown ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_3400 needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp95216.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
Then do the same thing for each of the ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_3403 devices.
