Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop is this:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz
x64-based processor 2 core
12.0 GB
Window 10 21H2

Windows tells me it can't upgrade to 11.  I find this appalling.  HP and Microsoft should be ashamed.  This computer is less than three years old.

Any suggestion of what to do except treat it as scrap metal?

Hi:

Yes, it definitely is appalling.

Try one of the few W11 hardware check bypass methods to upgrade to W11.

Such as this one, which is fairly easy to do...

Upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 on unsupported hardware | Jensd's I/O buffer
