After a McAffee attack I was unable to recover and attempted to reinstall the OS(WINDOWS11)
Using the MicroSoft provided usb stick couldn't find any partitions. I called the helpdesk and ordered a WIN11 recovery usb
It was booted and installed the software but the system in the end would not boot and had no partitions

@fobermueller, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP N200!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like your HP Flagship N200 laptop is having trouble recognizing partitions even after using the recovery USB. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Check BIOS Settings
- Restart the laptop and enter BIOS (Press F10 or Esc during boot).
- Ensure Secure Boot is disabled and Legacy Mode/UEFI Boot is set correctly.
- Check if the hard drive is detected under Storage Information.
Update SSD Firmware
- If you have an SSD, check HP website for firmware updates.
Let me know if this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
