Hi! I can't recovery operation system on my notebook pavilion dv-7, i'll try to start "Recovery when Windows 7 does not start correctly" and then recovery started, but later
6. Click OK in the warning that appears.
7. After the system recovery is complete, click Finish to restart the computer. Complete the setup screens and wait until the computer finishes the setup.
a message appears: "the system cannot complete the installation"
what can I do?
PS: sorry for my english, i'm from Russia)
If you cannot manually create recovery media, HP provides replacement kits for a limited time after the computer releases. If you are in the United States or Canada, continue with these steps to order recovery media from HP, if available.

Sorry for the bad news, but you're in a tough spot -- as HP, and the other suppliers, no longer stock the HP Win7 Recovery Media. So, there is nothing you can order to restore your PC to its original condition.
And, MS no longer provides Win7 downloads, either.
I used to have links to Win7 media but those places no longer carry those, either.
There are folks that support this forum that DO have links to Win7 media and if one of those comes along with that info, then you may be be able to download and create media to reinstall Win7 on your PC.
Good Luck

Windows 7 Home Premium Old Notebook G72-B49WM Product code XG987UA probably 32 bit OS. Wouldn't finish booting - Error Code Kernel Dump.
So I bought a SSHD 250GB and tried using a friends windows 10 64 bit recovery DVD and Flash Drive but just reboots automatically after failing and doesn't upload off either media.... Hate to toss what used to be top notch old days...
