Is this computer surgeon a trust worthy source for my recovery media?

Hi, @gambillone

If the computer surgeons website was not trustworthy, I would not have given you the link to their website.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/recovery-disks/m-p/7544872

When HP no longer decides to sell recovery media directly (usually after 5 years), Computer Surgeons buys up the excess recovery kits remaining.

@gambillone

Computer Surgeons has been around for years (and years).

It has been a long time since I had to make use of their services; all of our vintage HP systems have found new homes.

If you open the home page and scroll to the bottom, there are a number of links to help you navigate the service.

I did not mean no disrespect to you,  The only reason I asked is I tried a place called RESTORECD4U and got burned.  I also have heard of computer surgeons but did not know anything about them.  If it wasn't for this stay at home order I could take a nice drive down there and pick up the disks, but I guess I will have to order them instead.
