I have an out of warranty hp pavilion 64 bit; it is in a boot loop and I think it may be finished, but I'd like to try to boot from a usb drive I make on another computer (the one I'm using). The one I'm using has limited hard drive but I put a new usb drive in, and there's an sd card with room. Anyway, while dell had an easy method of finding the recovery software for the usb drive, windows seems all over the place.
Where can I get the instructions and data for making a usb recovery disc to use on another computer?
Thank you.

What's the full model number or product number of your notebook?
Use this guide to find that information:
HP® Color LaserJet CP6015de Printer (Q3935A)
If it is more than 5 years old, there won't be a HP factory image recovery drive you can create.
You cannot use a SD card to create recovery media with.
