How do I disable all gestures features on the touchpad? The only thing I want the touchpad to do is position the mouse pointer. I don't want it to assume singleclick, doubleclick, zoom, or anything else -- just move the mouse pointer. I have read many articles on how to do that, but my version of Windows 10 does not display the options or menu items mentioned in those articles. This is driving me nuts. Help! In case it matters, here is the writeup of my laptop when I ordered it last December:
2019 HP 17.3" HD+ Flagship Home & Business Laptop, Intel Quad Core i5-8265U Processor Upto 3.9GHz, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, DVD-RW, WiFi, HDMI, GbE LAN, Bluetooth, Windows 10, Black

Go to the HP document https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04648748. Scroll down and select the option listed as “Opening the Touchpad or Clickpad Settings.” As I have an older computer I searched for “Trackpad” and didn’t see an “Additional Settings” option in a box but rather a link on the right of the page. If you click on the “Settings “ button you can modify what the trackpad does. Also, I chose the available option to place the “Animated tray icon in taskbar” which then put the icon in the “Show hidden icons” area and allows ready access to modifying the trackpad again if desired.
