I do not find the fingerprint sensor listed as an option in the HP ENVY x360 15m Convertible PC - Maintenance and Service Guide
The User Guide mentions the feature might be available on "select products" but does not show the fingerprint sensor on the keyboard or on right / left sides of the computer.
Conclusion:
The computer does not have a fingerprint reader.
There is no option to add a fingerprint reader.
Final test / check:
Use the Device Manager
Check whether there is a listing for a fingerprint reader.
Fingerprint reader not listed = No fingerprint reader detected by the Device Manager
Control Panel > icon view > Device Manager
Tab View
Check Show hidden devices
Select Devices by Type
Open Biometric devices
Example - Device Manager check for Biometric device (fingerprint) and / or Camera type
