My computer for some time does not turbo under Linux - it stays on 2.0 GHz while my CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 4700U) is able to boost up to 4,1 GHz. On Windows 10 in dual boot on the machine the boost works perfectly.

According to my search using Perplexity, the fault isn't in my Linux system (OpenSUSE Leap 16.0), but in the fact that UEFI doesn't provide correct CPPC data for the system to be able to rise the CPU frequency above 2.0 GHz. It worked in the past, so I suspect that there was an UEFI update that broke the compatibility. Is there any possibility or evidence that this error will be solved in a future UEFI update?
