HP 17-Ce1010nr 17.3" Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I configured the keyboard according to HP instructions for the function keys to work normally.  However, when I log in to my server, they stop functioning and require me to use the 'fn' key then the 'f' keys that I choose.  This is double the work.  I had no idea this would happen when I purchased the unit.  There was no mention in the literature.  I use the function keys constantly when working with my Sage Business software.  I hooked up a wireless keyboard to test the laptop inside the server and the wireless keyboard works fine.

Can anyone make a suggestion?

Does the wireless keyboard have "standard" function keys? If so, of course it will work because it has different keys.

No, there is nothing you can do to the internal keyboard to prevent having to use the Fn key.
