Hello,

 

my hp  hard drive has imminent failure .

As it says at the startup I tried hard drive test on the bios but it results in failure with the following:
Smart check: FAILED
FAILURE ID: m7w1ww-67rag1-wd7w1g-60d903

Product ID: B4A08EA#ABF

 

Any help how to solve the pb ?

Hello
the hard drive is defective
It can continue to operate for a certain time, but it can definitively break down, if it is not already the case!
If possible, save personal data
Try a full reinstall
Be careful even if it works, it may permanently break down, save the data regularly.
This may allow you to use the computer while you find a hard drive!
Your computer should be this

ok,  Iwas hoping 2021 would be better than 2020 ... does not start really well.
