Hello everyone, please can somebody help me how I can upgrade/update my laptop? its been a while not opening my laptop since I brought the new one. But still I miss using this one. I didn't have a chance to upgrade for new windows cuz I dont know how to do it, until I lost my interest to pay attention. please can someone help me to get back my hp pavilion dv2000 windows vista product hp pavilion dv2700 to run a little bit faster and work well. thank you.

Sorry for the bad news, but you waited way too long to restore the laptop. Ordinarily, we could point to HP Recovery Media that you could use to restore a laptop to its original state, but HP, and the other vendors, have not supplied Vista media for years now. So basically, there is no place to get it now.
Additionally, while you MIGHT be able to run Win7 on this PC, you would have to purchase a license for that, since there is no longer any upgrade from Vista available.
Even then, you would have to go online and purchase a Win7 install DVD, since you would have problems locating a place to download a file for Win7. But ... others have more info on Win7 than I do, and may be able to help with this last part.
